Fleury Greek Cross [1]
The equal-armed, or equilateral cross is also known as
the "Greek cross". The fleur-de-lys is a stylized flower of
the
trumpet lily. A symbol that includes the fleur-de-lys is described
as "fleuree" (French) or "fleury" (English).
One symbolic interpretation of the fleur-de-lys is that it
represents the Trinity, because - in its stylized form - it appears as
three curves bound together. The fleur-de-lys is frequently combined
with either a Greek or Latin cross as a sign to say, "For in Him [Christ]
all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form." *
